Happy Birthday K and G!

We made our way down to Houston for Kinsey and Grayson's 3rd birthday party. The theme--- superhero's! Aunt Steph did an awesome job putting together their party and even went out of her way to make Annabelle and Ethan feel special with Incredibles t-shirts to match their cousins. Very sweet! We had a great time celebrating their birthday.

A couple things of note on this trip: Annabelle and Grayson tend to get into trouble together! Kinsey LOVES Ethan! And lastly, our time together is never long enough.

Happy, happy 3rd birthday to our baby girl.

There is not a day that goes by that you do not put a smile on our faces. We are continually amazed by your clever and witty observations and in awe of how quickly you catch onto everything. I know that I say (frequently) that I don't want you to get any bigger but that is really only half true.  I love your cuddly, curious and warm spirited characteristics now but I can't wait to see how your personality develops and grows. I know that you will be an amazing woman down the road because you can do anything and be anyone you want to be. Possibilities are endless and you have the courage to do wonderful things with your life.

In the meantime we will watch and enjoy our little girl as she plays, pretends, develops new friendships and thrives in new environments. This is an exciting time!

Max and Ruby Birthday Party

Max and Ruby..... Ruby and Max! Annabelle loved that show the minute Mimi gave her the first DVD! She loved it so much that it became the theme for her 3rd birthday party. We had a small party since most of her friends were out of town for the holiday. In the end all that mattered was that her grandparents and cousins were there.  Oh, and we had all her favorites- it was held at the splash park, we had Chick-ala (yes, I know that is not spelled correctly!) balloons, cake, presents and she got to wear a new swimsuit that had a tutu. Doesn't get much better than that.... :-)

Annabelle had a great time and so did we. Happy birthday sweet girl!

Happy Birthday Stephen

33 and still young! I love you Stephen!

We have a 2 year old!

Happy birthday to our sweet girl! She is officially 2 years old! We celebrated her day with family at the zoo, plenty of mac n cheese and birthday cake! It was a lovely day and if you ask Annabelle how old she is... "I'm 2, 2, 2!"

Daniel Tiger Party Time

Annabelle's second birthday party theme was Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Those who know her can probably figure out why we went with this theme.... she's in love with the show. There is some debate as to whether she call Daniel "Tiger hoodie" or "Tiger horsey" regardless it's her favorite show. We had the party at the park across the street from our neighborhood and we had about 25 family and friends come out to celebrate from 10-11:30 am on Saturday. It was a blast. Very casual- food included muffins (because after all, blueberry muffins are a Daniel Tiger and Annabelle fav), goldfish, frosted animal crackers fruit, coffee, ect. Favors included Daniel Tiger masks, a box of crayons and a coloring sheet. SIMPLE!

It was fun and best of all we had sunny weather and a bit of a breeze. Not too bad for a Saturday in July.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Stephen turned 31 on Wed., March 7th but we had two celebrations for him. One, when my parents came into town last weekend and two, on his actual birthday date.

For the weekend celebration we all took part in our traditional Pappasito's experience-complete with margaritas, fajitas and mexican hats! I even saw Stephen do a little shake, shake dance while the wait staff sung happy birthday to him! It was fun times as always. AND Annabelle got to have some tortillas and wear a funny hat. Awesome!

On his actual birthday Stephen wanted to go get a Keurig coffee maker and have pizza at his favorite pizza spot, Grimaldi's. (He is such a high maintenance guy! HAHA!) So, that's what we did. Again, fun times!

4 Months!

Happy 4 month birthday to Annabelle! She is getting so big-- 24 in long and 11.9lbs. She is smiling and giggling and loves the sound of her own voice! Annabelle grabs and holds her toys now too and can really focus her eyes on things that are far away. She loves when you read to her and when you make silly sounds. Its a joy to see her discover the world everyday.

One month old!

Happy one month old birthday! I can't believe how big you are getting!

Annabelle can lift her head briefly and is starting to recognize voices. She can also follow toys with her eyes and can turn her head. Annabelle eats every 3 hours during the day and 4 hours at night- she is very consistent and scheduled.

Such a sweetheart!
