Day out with Thomas the Train

Who doesn't love Thomas.... he's a train! We (Mimi, Gramps, Me, Stephen and A) carpooled down to Austin to last weekend to participate in Day out with Thomas. We met up with Steph, Bryan, K and G  and enjoyed fun activities for the kids surrounding the famous PBS show. A had a great time playing with bubbles and riding on the train. If only the weather had been better..... Here are some pics of the day. 

Funday Friday

I took Friday off of work and decided to have a girls day out. Annabelle, Mimi and I headed over to the Arboretum to play amongst the pumpkins and let A run around in the water fountains. Then afterward we had lunch, nap and some good old fashion shopping. It was so nice! Thanks Mimi for coming with us!

Arboretum Children's Garden

We visited the new Children's Garden this morning. It was a beautiful "cool" morning--- almost felt like Fall! Anyway, we didn't get to see all of the exhibits, not enough time, but A really likes all the water features and the interactive elements. Plus she got to run around and burn off some energy! Here are some pics. I am sure you will see more pics of the Arboretum adventures in the next month. They have their pumpkins out.... Halloween photo opportunities!

Out and About

A is running, jumping, kicking, skipping, hopping, pretending and generally on the move ALL THE TIME. She is such a happy, bright girl! And with exception of the "occasional" tantrum she is all around perfect! :-)

Annabelle Is Going To Be A Big Sister!

Annabelle is being promoted to Big Sis effective March 7. (Which is also Stephen's birthday!!) We are so excited and can not wait to meet the new addition! So fun! More info to come.

Soccertots!

Annnabelle had her first soccer class last Saturday. It was adorable and she had such a great time. There was a lot of running and kicking and racing around the rec center. What's not to love?? Here are some pics of her doing her thing in class. I will try to get some good video footage next class.

1st Haircut

Yep, we finally did it. Annabelle had her first haircut.... and she hated every minute of it! From the moment they put her in the chair to the checkout point she cried! Even watching Daniel Tiger didn't amuse her! Regardless, it was all over in about 5 minutes and she walked away with a lollipop, toy and a super cute short hair do! Good deal!

Harper's Birthday

Annabelle had so much fun at Harper's 2nd birthday party. She was loving the fact that it was held at a pet store and got to see all sorts of animals. She really enjoyed seeing the turtle, bunnies and even the snakes. (She's fearless!) Check it out below.

Play Time
