The New Mom is 30 Today!

Yes, it is finally here.

I am 30 years old today.... and despite my shock that 30 years have past so quickly, I am incredibly grateful to have such a wonderful life. I have an amazing husband, a beautiful new baby girl and the cutest little doggie! My life is very good!

So, all I have to say today is cheers to another amazing 30 years. :-)

Dallas Arboretum

We took Annabelle to the Arboretum yesterday to see their Fall harvest exhibit. It was so much fun- they had over 50,000 pumpkins all over the place and turned Cinderella's palace into Cinderella's Pumpkin palace. SO CUTE!!

Its not hard to see that Stephen is head over heals in love with Annabelle. He is so fantastic with her- patient and so sweet to watch. As Annabelle has grown and gotten older she has started to smile and recognize voices. She adores her Daddy and immediately looks for him when she hears his voice. I love watching them.... check out some of the pics below. Just a good example of how cute they are together!

Grandparents Day

We celebrated our very first Grandparents Day in Austin with Mimi and Gramps. We had a nice brunch at Chee Zee before heading back to Dallas. Annabelle loves her G-Units! I don't know what we would do without them!

Shower Time

Bryan and Steph are having TWINS!!! A boy and a girl cousin for Annabelle to play with! Yea. Here is a pic from last weekend's shower that was held in Steph's honor at Mimi's house. The theme was owls which is also the theme of the twins room. Annabelle can't wait to meet them!

Uncle Phil and Aunt Katie

Annabelle got to meet her Uncle Phil and Aunt Katie over Labor Day weekend. They traveled all the way from Arizona to hang out for the long weekend. She loved meeting them and the rest of the family sure loved hanging out with them as well. We miss you guys and would love to have you around more often!

Battle of the Colleges

Annabelle's family members are already campaigning for her to attend their colleges! Phil and Katie are hard core Sun Devils fans and are vying for her to join them in Arizona during her college days. Annabelle's mom and dad (along with her grandparents) think that she would make a mighty cute Gamecock! Steph and Bryan are of course voting for her to be a Longhorn.

She has a ton of time before making that decision but in the meantime she can root for all the teams in some fancy outfits!
