This Week

It's beginning to look a lot like Fall..... the leaves are turning and starting to fall on the ground. We are having some very windy days, typical of this time of year. A was busy this week finding pine cones and playing in piles of leaves in our neighborhood and at the park. She is very entertained with putting all her goodies in a bucket or in her new car (it has a front trunk).

A did a lot of arts and crafts this week as well. I am trying to get her to understand Thanksgiving. Not sure that she gets the holiday but she knows a turkey says "gobble, gobble." Some of the crafts included-gluing feathers on a paper turkey, coloring a turkey hat and we used some of the leaves we found on our walk to make cute leaf turkey collage. That was my favorite.

Just on a side note Annabelle is officially 16 months now and is definitely developing a personality. Some funny things that she does/says: She knows the Lakewood Park and gets upset if we drive by and don't get out to play. She knows the word NO and she uses it frequently. She still loves books and will sit and read them all day if you let her. She knows how to say Elmo and sometimes confuses the word Mama with Elmo. She likes to Meow. There is nothing more exciting to her than to ride in her new pink car. She likes to talk the most in the afternoon after her nap. She has a GREAT smile and laughs hysterically when you chase her. She likes to lift up her shirt and point to her belly button. She pulls all the pillows off the couch and jumps in them at least one time a day. Annabelle likes Tillie's dog beds and can often be found reading books in them...

That's all for now. Enjoy the pics of the week.
