Greetings! Time to update the blog. Since the last time I posted Annabelle has had another encounter with pinkeye. Boo. Poor thing seems to get any illness her classmates bring to class. Besides that we have been busy with everyday work and play. Here are some cute pics from the last couple weeks. Enjoy.

Lazy Weekend
Just another fun weekend full of parks and play dates. Oh, and Mimi and Gramps left to go on their big trip to London, Paris and Rome. Annabelle was very sad when we dropped them off at the airport on Saturday. The silver lining was that Bella is staying at our house while they are away. She LOVES Bella. It's adorable when she pets Bella and says "be sweet Bella."
Here are the pics.
Here are the pics.

A hunting we will go...
Action shots from Easter. We had so much fun and Annabelle loved having her hunt in Mimi and Gramps backyard.
Austin bound, if only for the weekend
Roadtrip! We were so excited to get out of town and go visit Mimi and Gramps over Easter weekend. I think we wore Annabelle out visiting the park, Austin Children's Museum and the Zilker Zepher! She slept an extra hour on Saturday and Sunday. Here are some pics of Annabelle and the G-units.
Growing up
Here are some of the pics that I have taken over the last two weeks. A couple things to note- Annabelle is really talking now. She can put two and three words together. Some of her favorite words are "park," "squeezie," "horsey" and "mine." She loves to paint, color and use stickers. She likes to dig, scoop and she's not afraid to get dirty. She loves bubbles and has a new found passion for horses.
A's School Egg Hunt
Eggs. Eggs. Eggs. Annabelle loves eggs. Just ask her.... eggs, eggs eggs. That is partly because we have been practicing for the big Easter egg hunt for a couple weeks now and partly because Annabelle loves watching Stephen make eggs for breakfast every morning.
I have to say that Annabelle did surprisingly well in her school egg hunt. I was worried that she may not realize the competitive element of the hunt. Her classmates know how to throw elbows! :-) I will say that it was amusing to watch all those eggs snatched up in such a short time period- the whole thing lasted about three minutes. Despite the fact that Annabelle's interest in identifying the color of the egg instead of just picking up the egg, she did come away with a healthy stash. Here are some pics from the fun even.
